Sales Engineer / Account Manager – Outdoor

At Norlux, you will play a central role in further developing and strengthening our position within professional outdoor lighting.
You will work closely with electrical contractors, consultants, municipalities and public developers - and offer complete solutions for roads, streets, tunnels, sports and architectural urban and outdoor environments.

The role combines technical understanding and commercial flair - you must be able to talk in detail about products, lighting calculations and installation, and at the same time see the overall picture of the customer's project and needs.
You will be responsible for the entire sales process, relationship building, follow-up and implementation - and become an important contributor to Norlux's further growth in Norway.

You will work closely with our lighting designers and technical specialists to ensure that customers receive the best and most well-thought-out materials and solutions.

Job duties

  • Sales and follow-up of new and existing customers.
  • Participate in sales-triggering activities such as trade fairs, customer meetings, sales meetings, etc.
  • Be the customer's best advisor and contribute with technical and commercial guidance
  • Identify and develop new projects in collaboration with contractors, consultants and public actors
  • Follow up on projects from quotation to completion
  • Responsibility for own budget and results
  • Some travel is expected

We are looking for you as

  • Has technical expertise and understands the value of good light in outdoor environments
  • Strong in relationships and thrives in contact with both technical and commercial decision-makers
  • Work independently and in a team, structured and results-oriented
  • Is curious, committed and motivated by creating solutions together with customers
  • Has high execution skills and ability to handle many projects in parallel

We would like to see you have

  • Experience in sales of outdoor lighting.
  • Technical background or interest – preferably with an understanding of lighting calculations, DIALux/Relux and installation.
  • Experience with project sales
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and oral.
  • Driving license class B and flexibility to travel in Norway
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, Visma Business, etc.)
