DESCRIPTION
The Gong pendant, designed by Carl&Carl for the renowned Belid, was originally conceived as a concrete product, but was instead realized in metal. The shade was therefore designed with a solid rolled edge on both the top and bottom to add a sense of robustness and weight to the fixture. The result is a simple yet elegant shape that harmonizes well in a variety of environments.
The deep design of the shade allows for the use of a wide range of E27 light sources, and since it is open at the top, it helps to cast light upwards. This light is reflected on the ceiling, creating a play of contrasts in the room. The inside of the lamp is matt white.
The lamp is timeless, just as nice hanging alone as in a group, and fits well into most interior styles.
