Norlux supplies lighting solutions for modern, environmentally friendly buildings. Located in Oslo’s Nydalen is Gullhaug Torg 5 – a 13,400 m² future-oriented 6 floor office building. Sustainability is a top priority, and the building is certified BREEAM-NOR Excellent and energy class A. See how Norlux contributes with energy-efficient lighting.

Gullhaug Torg 5 is owned by Avantor and leased to the IT company Crayon. The building is suited for division into different rental areas, and Avantor wanted a flexible lighting solution that was not fixed to the current inventory, and which could be adapted to new tenants. We solved this by using track lighting throughout on all floors. Mounted in a grid, the electrical tracks provide excellent adjustment options.

Above workplaces, the linear luminaire Force Plus is used. In common areas, corridors and as effect lighting on wall surfaces and objects, the choice fell on Lobus Spotlight.

On the mezzanines, there are common areas with coffee stations on each floor. Here we find the narrow cylindrical pendant Tony – also track mounted for flexibility.

The smaller meeting rooms/quiet rooms are equipped with the circular pendant Halo. In addition to meeting all technical requirements, Halo brings a decorative element into the office environment.

The glass facade with large window surfaces provides a lot of natural light, but also requires sufficient shading from the sun. Contractor Betonmast has solved this with a combination of Heat Mirror foil and ConverLight dynamic electrochromic sun shading.

The building’s environmental profile is also visible in the basement, where Avantor opted out of a car garage in favor of bicycle parking with the possibility of bicycle washing and service. The garage/industrial fixture Stream is used here.

In the basement we also find changing rooms with showers and drying rooms, wardrobes and treatment room. LED panels and Leila downlights are used here.
