Hogsnes Health Center

Norlux delivers solutions for public buildings. Hogsnes Helsehus is a state-of-the-art health center with institutional places for both short-term and long-term stays. Our client, Tønsberg Municipality, wanted a building with a hotel feel. The entrance area should be inviting, and the same feeling should be repeated in all parts of the building – both corridors and living rooms. See how we solved the task.

The building is a full 14,000 m² and is designed in sections/neighborhoods with sheltered outdoor areas. It blends naturally into the surroundings, and it is an integrated part of the local environment. Kindergarten and light trails are right outside the door. The outdoor area is designed with lighting, paths, ponds and recreational areas. The health center also has its own café that is open to everyone.

Our department, Commercial Project , was responsible for the lighting plans and lighting for the project. Among the products that were chosen, we can highlight the beautiful Galactic C in white that builds up the hotel feel in the larger common areas by the stairs. In the reception we find the Tony Pendant that provides a great light above the counter. LED strips and the Duhr wall lamp in black and gold give an exclusive and modern feel in the corridors.

The building has 120 residential rooms. LED panels with a circular frame have been chosen as basic lighting. Offices and security rooms are equipped with Benu Office suspended office luminaires.

Hogsnes Health Center also has a Spa room where residents can relax with a multi-colored "starry sky" using RGB fiber optics that light up in random patterns on the ceiling.
