Norlux Interior

Hollenderåsen 55

With sea views, large windows and carefully selected materials, Hollenderåsen 55 is a modern Residence where architecture, interior and lighting work together. Norlux has supplied lighting for the entire home – from discreet basic and accent lighting inside to functional lighting in the garage and comprehensive lighting of the outdoor areas.

The newly built detached house is located high and free on Vesterøya in Sandefjord, with a view of the sea. The house is over three levels and is characterized by large windows, continuous oak floors, solid oak stairs with glass railings and spacious patios. On the outside, the iron-vitreous treated wood cladding gives the house a modern and natural look.

Light that follows the architecture

The lighting is built up with several types of luminaires that cover different functions without competing with the architecture. Ceto Mini Fixed provides discreet basic lighting with a recessed light source and high color rendering, while Tania The Mini family provides flexibility where light is directed towards selected surfaces and zones. Tania Mini Basic and Tania Mini Slim Basic can be both rotated and angled, so that the lighting can be adapted to the interior and the use of the room.

Cold 5 downlight is used as a more pronounced, graphic element in the lighting. The characteristic rectangular shape and the recessed light source make the luminaire part of the interior without being dominant. Cold 5 Outdoor is used under the ceiling outdoors.

Alongside the functional lighting, emphasis has also been placed on decorative elements. The Tony Pendant adds contrast with its slim shape and combination of black and gold, while integrated LED -stripes are used to highlight selected details and create indirect light. Tony has been specifically developed as a minimalist pendant that also works well when multiple luminaires are used together.

From inside to outside

The lighting concept continues outside the home. Cold 5 Outdoor, Talos , Lyra and Plaza are used in the outdoor areas. Lyra and Plaza provide light both upwards and downwards and help to highlight wall surfaces and architectural details, while Talos combines lighting with integrated power outlets. The result is outdoor lighting that both has a practical function and gives character to the house after dark.

The garage is also included as part of the whole. Here, LED panel are mounted in black surface-mounted frames . This gives a clean and functional expression and allows the technical lighting to fit in with the other black details in the home. Norlux LED - panel can be mounted on the outside using a separate mounting frame.

The home is also equipped with the Plejd smart system for controlling lighting and heating. This makes it possible to adapt the light to different rooms, activities and times of day – completing a lighting solution where function, comfort and atmosphere are thought out together.
