Restaurant Victor

Newly restored pier restaurant with year-round outdoor seating. In a 140-year-old sea shed in the middle of Tønsberg pier you will find Victor – a restaurant and cocktail bar in Nordic style. The lighting from Norlux creates the right atmosphere and highlights architectural details.

During the renovation of the building, everything inside except for the beams was demolished. We have made a number of special adaptations to provide modern lighting while preserving and highlighting the character of the old wooden building.

The most striking lighting in the restaurant is the handmade glass Puppet pendants that extend all the way from the attic and connect the floors. The pendants were supplied by the renowned Vistosi, who have been blowing glass in Murano since the 16th century.

The New Wave Optic wall lamps in rose color create exciting patterns on the walls and contribute to a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

At the bar counter and between seating areas, we have specially ordered decorative table lamps from Nuura that are permanently mounted and take up minimal space on the table surfaces. Alongside these, the rechargeable Manhattan lamps are used on the tables. These come with their own trolley for easy collection and charging.

The basic lighting is dominated by low-glare downlights, the track-mounted gold Paris pendant and Tania Spotlights. Tania Mini Slim Surface is used extensively to illuminate the ceilings and beams, and the indirect lighting creates a good atmosphere and highlights the old wood.

The art on the walls is illuminated by Tania Mini Basic recessed spotlights.
