Norlux is a proud lighting supplier to Rudskogen Motorsenter – Norway's main motorsports facility. See how we solved the lighting for Rudskogen's new restaurant and conference center.

The facility at Rudskogen has recently undergone extensive upgrades. Where previously there were only tents for catering, there are now beautiful new buildings that are more in line with the magnificent course.

The lighting plan for the center helps to tie together and create a common thread in the area of use for the facility and the building's interior architecture.

The restaurant will make everyone from mechanics to oil sheikhs feel welcome. Here we play with elements, shapes and materials that evoke associations with motorsport.

There are wheel-shaped Khan pendants and lamps with an industrial and rustic feel. The tables use battery-powered lamps that are collected and charged on charging trays in the evening. A flexible solution has also been created with Zoom spotlights in a rectangular frame. If necessary, these can illuminate, for example, a car on display in the restaurant.

In counters, LED strips create atmospheric, indirect lighting, and the surfaces are illuminated by Tony Plus pendants. The shapes take inspiration from motorcycle exhaust systems.

In the toilets, Liila wall lamps provide an exciting and decorative play of light.

For the stairs we have a Tier wall lamp – specially made by Italian Vistosi and shaped to evoke associations with a motor racing track.

The conference center consists of a boardroom, two conference rooms, event pit box and press room. The Relax LED panels in the conference rooms are specially painted to blend in with the ceiling and give the illusion of speed stripes.

In the boardroom we find the majestic Column pendant lamp, which, with its round design, is reminiscent of wheels seen from the side. The lighting in the boardroom is complemented by Cold 5 downlights as general lighting and Zoom Recessed aimed at the painting.
