Löplabbet The Strait of Willows

Norlux illuminates Löplabbet's flagship store. We are proud to have delivered a modern lighting solution with several special adaptations that are essential to the experience of the newly renovated store in Pilestredet.

In Pilestredet is Löplabbet's first of, to date, 16 stores in Norway. Here, runners of all levels have received guidance and advice in choosing running shoes and equipment since 1987. The premises have now been renovated, and the area has also been doubled.

The store in Pilestredet is the chain's flagship, and in connection with the renovation, steps have been taken to add that little extra to Löplabbet's concept. This is clearly visible in the form of the treadmill that, literally, runs like a red thread through the premises. Here, Norlux has delivered a special solution with curved linear lighting in the ceiling, tailored to the millimeter, which follows the curves of the treadmill.

The logo projectors are another special solution.

The basic lighting consists mainly of Lobus spotlights in 3500K – a color temperature that is somewhat closer to an outdoor environment. There is a balance between warm and cool light in addition to natural color rendering for good visual comfort. This makes products and surroundings appear natural and pleasant to the eye over time.

In parallel with treadmills, we have chosen T-line linear luminaires, and in windows, Tania Mini spotlights are mounted in vertical rails.

In the counter and shelves/product display there are COB LED strips in 4000K. COB LED strips use a new technology that provides a completely even light without the spots from traditional LED strips with diodes.

Norlux can also deliver various packages of audio solutions where we are involved in the entire delivery. To Löplabbet We have delivered a track-mounted system with Sonos Era 100. The ability to use the same power rails as the lighting makes the sound system practical and flexible.
