DESCRIPTION
Eclisse, a lamp designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the Compasso D'Oro award in 1967 and became an ambassador for Italian design worldwide. Eclisse has an experimental design that balances form and function, design and utility. The foundation of the concept lies in the functionality of adjusting the intensity of the light through the rotating lampshade. With a locked outer shade and a movable inner shade, the lamp can provide both direct and indirect light.
This is a table lamp that can also be mounted on the wall. Lacquered metal available in white, red or orange with an on/off switch. Eclisse is part of the permanent collection of some of the most influential museums, including MoMa in New York and Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
