Norlux is proud to supply lighting to Rudskogen Motorsenter – Norway’s main facility for motorsport. See how we solved the lighting for Rudskogen’s new restaurant and conference centre.

The facility at Rudskogen has recently received extensive upgrades. Where previously there were only tents for entertainment, there are now beautiful new buildings that are more in line with the magnificent course.

The lighting plan for the center helps to tie together and create a common thread in the area of ​​use for the facility and the building’s interior architecture.

In the restaurant, everything from mechanics to oil sheiks should feel welcome. Here we play on elements, shapes and materials that give associations to motorsport.

There are wheel-shaped Khan pendants and lamps with an industrial and rustic feel. Battery lamps are used on the tables. These are collected and charged on charging trays in the evening. A flexible solution has also been created with Zoom spotlights in a rectangular frame. On special occasions, these can illuminate a car on display in the restaurant.

In counters, LED strips create atmospheric, indirect lighting, and the surfaces are illuminated by Tony Plus pendants. The shapes take inspiration from the exhaust system on a motorcycle.

In the rest rooms, Liila wall lamps provide an exciting and decorative play of light.

For the stairs, we have a Tier wall lamp – specially made by Italian brand Vistosi and shaped to give associations to a motor racing track.

The conference center consists of a boardroom, two conference rooms, event pit box and press room. The Relax LED panels in the conference rooms are specially painted to blend in with the ceiling and give the illusion of light in motion.

In the boardroom we find the majestic Column pendant lamp which, with its round design, resembles wheels when viewed from the side. The lighting in the boardroom is complemented by Cold 5 downlights as main lighting and Zoom Recessed directed at the painting on the wall.
